I have read the terms and conditions for contributing content. By uploading this content I am explicitly agreeing to these terms and conditions.
1.) Contributors are fully responsible and/or liable for the accuracy and quality of any information or material contributed to our website including links to outside websites. They assure that their contributions will not harm the functions of this site and that their contributions will be absolutely virus-free.
2.) Contributors must make sure, that they are either the owner of any intellectual property rights concerning the uploaded file or that the contributed material is not protected by any intellectual property rights. As a contributor they declare that intellectual property rights of others are not infringed. In case such rights should exist out of a co-authorship, contributors must insure all tenants have signed a written acceptance declaration. These prior declarations can be requested by iClinics at any time and without referring to further reasons. In case of a request by iClinics the written acceptance declaration has to be presented immediately. iClinics reserves the right to take any action if the requested permission is not presented within the fixed respite.
3.) Providers of contributions concerning experiments on human subjects indicate by uploading the affected file that the procedures followed where in accordance with the ethical standards and the responsible committee on human experimentation (institutional and national) and with the Helsinki Declaration of 1975, as revised in 2000. If the standards of the Helsinki Declaration were not observed or there are doubts referring to this matter, authors must explain the rationale for their approach, and demonstrate that the institutional body explicitly approved the doubtful aspects of the study.
4.) Contributors have to make sure that any photograph, any written description or any further contributed material or information does not contain any information that could allow the identification of the patient such as, but not limited to, names, initials, ancestry, or identification numbers unless the information is essential for scientific purpose and the patient (or parent or guardian) gives written informed consent for publication.
5.) iClinics reserves sole discretion to accept, edit or reject any and all materials and information submitted to us from contributors. iClinics will not be responsible for the return of these items. iClinics will not be liable for any payment for any submissions without prior written agreement.
6.) Contributors agree that they will not upload or transmit to the iClinics site, its content providers, business associates, advertisers or users, any information or material that infringes or violates the rights of any party. If they submit any content or communication to the iClinics site, they are agreeing that such content or communication is not confidential for any purpose. By making any submission to this site they are representing and warranting that they are the owner of the rights to the information or material submitted, and they are granting to iClinics a permanent, royalty-free, irrevocable, world-wide, nonexclusive license to use, reproduce, create derivative works from, modify, publish, edit, translate, distribute, perform and display the content of the submission in any media, in any form or format, now available or developed in the future. If they are not the owner of the rights to the information or material submitted, they are representing and warranting that the person who owns such rights has granted the above-referenced rights to iClinics according to No. 2) of these Terms and Conditions.
iClinics may sublicense the rights obtained from you to others without limitation.
7.) Contributors agree to provide only content that is not in violation of any laws, is not abusive or otherwise offensive, does not infringe on the intellectual property of others, and is not for commercial purposes. iClinics reserves the right to take any action in respect of your content if it is considered inappropriate in any way.
8.) Contributors agree to indemnify and hold iClinics, its officers, principals, employees, agents, consultants, and information providers harmless from and against all claims, actions, demands, losses, expenses, damages and costs, including but not limited to reasonable attorney's fees and accounting fees resulting from, or alleged to have resulted from, your violation of these Terms and Conditions.
